There is soemthing very relaxing about watching boats powered by human arms rather than high-powered combustion engines. That adds a lot to the tranquility and serenity of the beautiful landscape.

This is a great picture - it reminds me of some of the artwork I saw on traditional scrolls when I was in Japan. Like your Japan pictures too - I used to live there and just wish I had been into photography back then!
