I fished the crab fisheries in the Bering Sea for many years...long before they became popularized in movies and t.v. Here are some of my photos taken long ago with my Canon AE1. Yes, it was cold, but you only were cold if you weren't moving. Usually, we'd only wear a polypropylene shirt with a cotton hoodie or a light weight, water resistant jacket under our rain gear. You can always get warmer by moving faster and still work. It's almost impossible to work if you over dress; you will just over-heat and be worthless! It will be an ongoing project as I have hundreds...so check back & enjoy!
