King Cove is east of Dutch Harbor several hundred miles on the beginning of the Alaska chain. The bays are defined by mountains on each side pretty much down the entire chain, so, when it blows those bays act like a funnel increasing the wind speed dramatically! Yes, we would fish in this. Wind doesn't stop you. Wind with 40ft+ seas makes you think twice; although it is still doable!
