WITCH HAZEL

You might wonder if Hazel minds being called a witch.

“Not at all” she’d say. “Witch here comes from the word
‘wych’ meaning ‘supple’ and ‘bendy’.
Especially good for what I do well.

“My twigs have been used for centuries for finding water,
water witching. Which, (another word for supple and bendy),
is really quite magical.”
