Anyone who has tried to photograph a Sanderling knows how challenging it is. They hardly ever stand still.
I had not made a serious attempt to photograph them so I decided it was time to try.
These photos were taken over 4 shoots about an hour each.
I have tried to create a body of work that gives the viewer an insight into the personality of this shore bird.
