On my first visit to Acadia National Park I found the area is simply gorgeous. Photographing the rocky shoreline at first light and then photographing reflections, dew drops, wild flowers, herring gulls, the different harbors and various landscapes was quite an experience. I also had the opportunity to try various photographic techniques on the wide range of subject matter.

I am currently working on a book about photography and the park and plan to visit Acadia a couple of more times. Here are some images from my first trip.
