Sovereign Hill School

Sovereign Hill Victoria Australia

Sovereign Hill is a Tourist Attraction in the Township of Ballarat which is approx 100km from Melbourne the Capital City of the State of Victoria in Australia. It is set up as a typical town during the 1850's when gold was discovered in Ballarat.
Once a month a local school is chosen from the surrounding country towns and the children attend a typical day of school in the Gold Rush Years of the 1850's. They are dressed accordingly as well to get into the atmosphere.
I have given the image a Sepia Tint and left a little "noise" to try and depict an image that might have been taken during that time.
