I am still learning. Your G2 pictures reminds me of a G1 shot at http://www.pbase.com/danieltong/image/61450098 even afer so many years . That was the best I took. I recall that there were some L glass in the G1 & G2. I cannot prove it but the lens of my dyfunctional G1 is just breathtakingly effective if focused correctly.
