The missing heads definitely bring down the composition. Some shadow/highlight or dodge/burn in PP will help reduce the harsh light and lighten their faces. accady
Thanks for the suggestion. I think I will work on some cropping away of the left-side riders (probably not in time for the challenge - but for personal). This was actually the first time I tried taking action shots - it was lots of fun, but definately challenging!
i'm a little bothered by the cut off heads. the middle rider is good but he's got some distracting detail right right behind him and his head could do with a little more space above. of course, fast-moving action shots are such a challenge and i admire anyone who attempts them. bugzie
