I will try cropping the left a bit. I was concentrating on the diagonal composition while shooting, so I didn't pay as much attention to the extra space at the left. Good suggestion. What added to the challenge of the shot is that I was standing in the rain shooting this - you can see a rivulet of rain coming off the front of the camera case (ultra-compact with a waterproof case). We are in drought conditions, so this first rain in months was a blessing!

a difficult shot... you need the dof to keep the definition of the rivulets coming off the awnings in the diagonal composition, but that means the extraneous detail is in focus too. i agree with MC. chop off the left a little and i'd be tempted to remove what's left of that roof a the left with some retouching. okay, it's against veracity but it's better than blowing up the neighbor's house next rainy day. ;o)

Very nice capture of the movement and I like the diagonal composition too. I tink I would try a closer crop to remove from the empty space on the left and improve the ballance. MCsaba
