I have a great affection for plane trees and there's many where I live. I lived in this area when I was very young, and loved kicking through the plane tree leaves on my way to school. At the moment they are suffering from drought... few leaves and lots of seed pods, and I don't suppose there'll be many leaves to shuffle through this year.
