Much bettter in my opinion. Now we can see the picture. The converging diagonals help to draw our eye in and lets us see the interesting details. It was harder to get there with the yellow. The red border on your third picture works fine since it works with the other bright colors in the image.

I took you at your word, Jeffry! I played around for a while with the yellow border before I posted but it must be wrong if it detracts so I've kept it simple this time; often the best policy!! Thanks again for the advice.

Interesting detail, but it is hard to get past the yellow border. If you want a border on this, may try a black or grey one. A good color for borders is a color found in the picture. In Photoshop you can use your eyedropper tool to select a color from somewhere in the picture. Complementary colored borders are better than contrasing borders in most circumstances. It is good that you are experimenting! JeffryZ
