2nd: Muro the Cat
by Plamen Antonov

As usually he was sitting at the window 'talking' to the birds and completely ignoring the rest of the world.

Very nice image Plamen.
At the risk of alienating 1/2 the world :) , I'm not really a cat person - but you have a very nice capture of Muro. The negative space works really well with his coloring and the the detail/sharpness are great as is the compostion.

Fabulous texture in the fur. The eyes look like roadmaps to where the birds hide! This si one focussed cat!

What a beautiful photo of a beautiful cat. I think he looks more like a spectator than a killer in this shot though.

A beautiful portrait of Muro, I reckon he is getting good DOF - must be at least f16!

i do love it when puddies "talk" to birds and he's got that wonderfully intent look on his face. my favourite puss was evil with birds and i know that look well. he would sit at the window and make prrrt, prrrt, prrrt noises but he got out one day and the birds had the last laugh as a car got puddie before puddie could get them. but your photo brings back memories of that particularly evil one. bugzie
