Shot at maximum depth of field to get a reasonable focus on the reading glasses and the a bit of motion blur applied to emphasize the message within the lens frame.

Clever..Good job. There is a bit of flatness to it though. Could use more contrast/ color boost maybe? - JJ

Thanks for the comments. The left lens is an editing conundrum. My son said "make it blurry" but that would have looked false. Cropping it out would make the glasses look incomplete. The partial crop looks a bit distracting as a second area of focus. I kind of painted myself into a corner in this one! Bob said that the more he thinks about it, the less it bothers him. I feel that way too.

Anyway, I agree - nice idea. I don't have a problem with the uniform blur, that's pretty much what I see without my glasses :)
When I first looked at this image, I had the same thought as MC - that the in focus text in the left lens was distracting. I don't think cropping off the lens would work. Can't think of any useful suggestion (and the more I think about it, the less it bothers me).

Good idea and execution. The uniform motion blur in the entire depth looks a bit unnatural, IMHO. I would also consider an other crop: the text in-focus on the left part distract the attention. MCsaba
