Captured Sky by morey

Kimmel Center, Philadelphia, Pa

This is the roof of the Kimmel Center in Philadelphia, taken from the inside. The blue sky (to which I added some saturation and tinting) is framed by the glass and steel dome of this magnificent performing arts center. I enjoyed hearing the Philadelphia Philharmonic orchestra play shortly after this photo was taken.

I like this one Morey. Interesting lines in a good composition. I also like the deepening of the blue towards the right of the vertical sections to contrast with the relative uniformity of the rest of the blue. There is no doubt that this one is strongly on theme. Well spotted and captured. John
