Bruce, I like this one. My first impression the other day was not so strong and I didn't even open it for a better look until now. The impact of the perspective is quite good and the diagonal balancing of the vivid blue (and yellow) harp sign with the more subdued blue sky works well. The other tones provide a good contrast to help the subject stand out to meet the theme. I also gravitated to the tavern sign, but once I'd read it, I was satisfied that I didn't need it to stand out any more. AS it is, the sign blends in well with the rest of the non harp sign/non sky elements to provide a backdrop for what the image is really about.

i like the perspective and what it packs in!
my eyes keep trying to read the establishment name though.
Somehow i think that is the real subject,
might even be a pub shot for 'em (sorry 'bout the pun).
Maybe you could dodge the sign up just a smidgen.

A well done picture! I like the blues, as they ballance each other. May be a shot with a wider angle (and more blues) would improve it. - MCsaba
