What a great perspective. With the wide open sky makes a striking difference of scale. Well done.

If any of my ants were involved in this effort, then they didn't tell me. ;o)
I had initially thought the same as Niamh about a bit of subtle fill flash and a lesser exposed sky, but on relfection I had decided that the way it is presented here emphasises the fact that the perspective is looking up from underneath so that we would expect the undersides of the flowers to be dark as they are here. As a result, I'm pretty comfortable with the lighting here. Cheers, John

great idea for this shot with the flowers reaching and opening towards that huge sky!
if i had one small suggestion for next time though, perhaps the sky is a little over-exposed and the flowers just a little too dark. i am not an expert by any means unfortunately but i wonder if some fill-in flash on the flowers whilst exposing for the sky would have redressed this - i am not really sure. lovely shot anyway - as i said, just a very small suggestion and anyway just my opinion. :)
