Hi Rene,
I like the way the sun highlights the fluffy clouds in the foreground and the colour it produces. Always handy to have a camera with you. Good capture.

Thank you for your very kind remarks. Yes I agree the photo is a little soft. Unfortunately the planes that fly within New Guinea are very old and the glass is not as clear as in the more modern planes. Having said that, the views sometimes are quite spectacular, especially when you are flying low through the mountains. Probably shouldn't have added it to the exhibition, but these competitions are becoming addictive.

Beautiful colours in this image - the warm light and soft pastel blues make it seem serene (even though those look like rain clouds...?). If I had one criticism it would be that the focus looks a little soft, but obviously in a plane travelling at x miles per hour you have limited options. :)
