Don't wait too long to get the ole feathers out... Only a few more days till opening day, unless you have a Trout Management Area that you can fish all year like we have here in Connecticut. Notice I trim the bottom a little so the fly can lay a little lower in the water! Hard to see in the pic but this was tied on a #18 hook. I can't tie smaller than a #22... old eyes.

This image caught my eye immediately. I love the high contrast and composition. I think it is simply stated; yet it conjures the image of my father fly fishing in the early morning in a lush and peaceful stream. - A.C.

This one is actually quite painful to look at. Is it really just an innocent image as it appears? Or, is there more to it. "Adams fly"? a "big one"? I don't know about this one.
