Very interesting and different take on sunrise - seen so small and distant, it really makes our planet feel quite vast. I like the light raying out diagonally from the point of the sun and the diffuse color. I think I tend to like your panoramiz crop below even a bit better.

I do like that better. The panoramic framing definitely promotes the best dimmension of the image (at least to my eyes). Great image!

Hey Gideon - very interesting perspective! The lighting looks very challenging - but I like the perspective of the tiny sun rising over the vast expanse of open landscape. I'm wondering if a better perspective would be a thin panorama-style crop that would include the full halo around the sun and the purplish portion of the landscape below it(and including the full width of the image).
