This is a sunset taken on Thursday evening. A thunder storm had just blown through about two hours earlier. You can just see the thunder head over the peaks in the distant. The sun is setting behind me and is breaking in and out of the clouds. That is causing the dark shadows and brightly light landscape. If we take the time and just watch the landscape will change every second in light and colors. With photography we are attempting to capture just one of those seconds in an image.
