After a good nights sleep and a continetal breakfast, I head for Custer State Park. I was told about the Needles Highway so took a cruise through the one-way tunnels. This is the RT just outside of the first tunnel. The tunnels are narrow and cut right into the rock. The spires are just amazing. All of this country is very pretty. Must press on as my goal is two days of photography in the Badlands. If you look closely you can see a bird soaring. I beleive it is a turkey vulture as they were everywhere.
