A professional musician in the audience told me that Bruce Cassidy's 9-piece band, The Hotfoot Orchestra, was the best jazz band in Canada at the moment. After spending a very enjoyable 3 hours listening to them I have to agree that I've never heard a better jazz band anywhere, even in New Orleans! That's band leader Bruce Cassidy playing his EVI, or electronic valve instrument. You have to hear it to believe it!
