Jocelyn Schryver (Jocey) received a double-lung transplant in June, 2002 and subsequently developed complications which led to her hospitalization before the picnic. She obtained a day pass to attend the picnic and be with the many friends she made since her transplant. Unfortunately her condition deteriorated shortly after the BBQ and Jocey passed away in August, 2004. She is dearly missed.
