I drove Horse & Carriage in Down Town Victoria for 4 years. What an amazing experience, to see one of BC's most beautiful Cities through the eyes of my many passengers. The the Inner Harbor is full of culture, incredible history and architecture, and breath taking scenery.
I had the pleasure of driving many Equine partners, including Teams and Singles. But my favorite was Tango! He came to me as 4yr old brand new to the street. He had a lot to learn, and had MANY bad habits to break! Over the next 2 1/5 years I was his only driver, we went through a lot together! Tango had the temper of a pre-schooler, and one of his favorite things to do when he got fed-up of standing around waiting for guests, or traffic lights was to stamp his feet,prance in his harness and rear. A night on the street with him was always an adventure. Oh ya, I forgot to mention that by 6 yrs old Tango was 18.3HH and weighed in at 2800lbs, at 5'2" it was entertaining putting on his harness and dealing with his tantrums.
I will never for get having the pleasure of working with such an amazing horse. He was my partner and their will always be a soft spot in my heart for him. I love you Tango!
