I'm guessing there may be fewer images this year than in other years; there were several 1st Saturday Photo Safaris that went unattended, which meant that I didn't get to go out either. This year I tried to reawaken my Canon Rebel, but I must have either the wrong kind of eraser or the wrong technique for working on the little contact points between the body and the lens, because each time I tried to follow the instructions I found online, it would pull itself together for just one new photo, and then go all grumpy again. Thoroughly disappointing, as I really loved that camera. The Fuji Finepix does good work; it just doesn't feel as good in my hands or make me feel as happy. I guess they figure 10 years of happiness should be good enough for anyone.
