Path Through Whortleberries

Meadow Lake Campground, Gilmore, Lemhi Co., Idaho

I loved this trail through the forest, leading gently toward the higher reaches of this place. It had not been spoiled by horse travel, and led through the awesome carpet of tiny bushes of minuscule but tender and tasty whortleberries.
