Our full day in open sea has 8 to 10 foot waves which for a
first day at sea gives slight discomfort. We will soon
learn to tolerate this relatively mild weather.

The Falklands have 2 main islands, West Falkland and East
Falkland, and 776 smaller islands. Our first stop is New
Island, the most westerly inhabited island of the Falklands.
