There is a valid reason to NOT go to Antarctica - the Drake Passage,
the body of water between South America and Antarctica. In bygone
days, ships were lost to the storms in the Drake; in modern times,
we may resort to various meds and hours in our beds to weather the
passage. We knew it was time to either make the trip or write it
off our travel list. So, here we are ready to give it a try.
