Thank you for the most kind dedication dearest Mostafa! Your friendship is one to be deeply cherished, as if we have have been friends beyond time's measure. It is most overwhelming to receive such generous thoughts from my other friends at Pbase. Thank you all so very, very much!

With delicious intent
Capturing my very thoughts
Before they are born
As wispy gulls
Upon the breath of my lungs,
Before the syllables lap and roll
Over my tidal tongue.
You know me
Like a familiar book,
The fond words having spoken
Already from page to heart
Without breaking the cover.
You are the painter
Having conceived my being complete
My very impetus of soul,
Before colour even licks the brush.
Do my eyes betray me
As shallow reflective pools
That shimmer at your slightest inquiry,
As sunlight tickling puddles,
Curving the corners of my mouth
With sweetness in your favour again.
Is it my tender pantomime
Of canted head, softened shoulder,
Willowed limb, and waxen poise
Which yield as moist clay
To the palms of your conversation,
That I become shapen
With the precious dearness
Of your soul friendship
Most ever willingly.

Rod is a wonderful human being
with freedom in his spirit.
He left beautiful footsteps by each of us
who was lucky enough to discover and feel his sensitivity.
He is not on PBase anymore but he continues to share his
approach to the world else where, follow the link Mostafa
graciously provided, you will not be disappointed.
But i miss his presence on Pbase...
If you ever read this Rod...thank you for that walk near the
lake il y a de cela quelque temps...
This gallery is a reflection of beauty the way Rod sees it,
it can take only another as beautiful and as sensitive artist
with a mind as beautiful to pay such a wonderful tribute.
