U.S. Grant Hotel
US Grant Hotel San Diego
~
The US Grant Hotel San Diego is located in downtown San Diego across the street from Horton Plaza and the vibrant Gaslamp. The historic US Grant San Diego hotel was built in 1910 by the son of the former president. Since then it has been a San Diego landmark in the heart of its downtown neighborhood. Recently the US Grant was refurbished and while it still has the charm of its past, it now also has fine italian linens and commission art in its rooms.
~
The US Grant Hotel in San Diego is a luxury five star hotel combining the best of San diego's past with the energy of present day Downtown San Diego. The hotel is unique but blends in well with the architecture of the Gaslamp. The US Grant in San Diego features opulently carved ceilings marble floors and wood floors decorated with plush carpets. The decor in the US Grant Hotel is elegant in a modern sense, but pays homage to its colorful past. Spa Velia is available to pamper guests with in room massages. The US Grant also provides guests with access to their fitness center. Experience the luxury at the US Grant Hotel.

Impressive place! We'll have to check it out the next time we're down that way to visit our son.

This is definitely worth a return with the D3!

What a beautiful building. All these lights will be a good subject for your D3.
Ironic that a 5 Star hotel has what looks like homeless people at the front gate.

Not familiar with it, but we'll have to check it out next time we're down that way visiting our son Chris. Looks like a wonderful old building.

It is so strange, I remember the Horton Plaza very well but not this wonderful hotel. Shame on me! Beautiful!
