Warm Summer Light

Please forgive the whining last evening! Put Photoshop 6.0 out of its misery for good, and finally upgraded to CS2!
Seems to have fixed whatever was ailing 6.0 last night! ;-)

curl up on the bench, hug the knees & close the eyes...feels good.

Beautiful shoot!!
Do you think is good idea having kind of "Pepe`s challenge" this week and shoot benches the entire week?
Guest 23-Aug-2005 02:07
So far, I'm fine with 7.0...knock on wood. Nevertheless, your images look fabulous without any processing.

Whew I am glad I came back! Bottle that light Mindy. You'd made a fortune.
An outstanding summer scene.

Beautiful shot. Love the colors!
You're going to love CS2 - there is so much more in there than 6!

vote cause i like it! the wavy line and then the star and the tightness and maybe a perfect exposure for the light/white and the shadows! very brave nice image, brave to cut the flowers/window in half and not many would cut the legs off... but, Mindy i am with you!!! it draws me in!
Guest 22-Aug-2005 23:29

I love that shadow of the arm. So expertly composed. You're going to love CS2 and wonder why you waited so long.

Its there now Mindy... gosh Pbase drives me crazy sometimes!
And duh, in my first comment I didn't even 'get it' that this is a bench shot too.
LOL.

What a happy scene - inviting me to come for a sit down! Love the star cut out, the muted colors, the cheery plant. Very nice.

Movin' on up! ;) You'll no doubt be very pleased with CS2, esp making the move from v6.0. You've composed this imgae very well! Love the warm, subdued tones/lighting and great contrasting textures between the bench and bg.

I have CS2 on my home computer and have become a real fan.
Excellent work here Mindy. Wonderful tones and texture.
Guest 21-Aug-2005 23:05
Very lovely, Mindy! I'm ready for the CS2 upgrade, too - the workflow it offers in ACR is just right up my alley. Beautiful tones here.
Lee Rudd21-Aug-2005 22:46
whining forgiven.... this is a magical photo!
Jackdad21-Aug-2005 22:38
beautiful work, like the star carved in the back of the seat.
Stu21-Aug-2005 22:34
Nice woodgrain on the bench
Breland21-Aug-2005 22:31
Oh, oh, I am on Bre's computer and forgot to log in as me! I want whatever magic you have to give the warm texture to the wood and this great shot. I don't think it's in a box, though.

Wow! If this is an example of what CS2 can do I want an upgrade. Great light and fun comp.
