Compare conversions

This is how calibrated and uncalibrated ACR compares to Nikon Capture Editor when reading D200 raw files. NCE looks punchy at first, but close analysys reveals false contrast curve and not so natural tones. ACR at default setting gives terrible, washed-out pic. When calibrated, ACR gives just the right tones, contrast and colors. With good lighting and fine lens those calibration values can give slightly oversaturated colors (110% as measured with Imatest). Fourth crop presents calibrated ACR but with general saturation slider (within the first pulldown menu "Adjust") set to -10.
