This is the first day of our ride. We first went to the Vanersborg museum and learned about the famous troubador Birger Sjoberg.
Afternoon cycling took us northeast through former Swedish elk country where royal elk hunts have been held since the 1500's.
Visted Silvi school museum and then continued along the east of Lake Vanern to the Stadt hotel in Lidkoping.
In the morning we toured Rorstrands, Sweden's oldest and most prestigious ceramic works.
