The discovery of the excentric chert blades, obsidian, jade and a few teeth.
The above pictured excavation unit is located beneath the top steps at structure 8,
a palace structure at Nohmul.

The crossed "excentric" chert blades are being moistened for better exposure...

The "full moon" find was a highlight of the 1985 season.
