Over the last few years I have come to love this lake a mile from my home. My friend is the third generation living in the cabin at the lake. Her grandfather built the dam that turned the cranberry bog into a seven acre lake and he built the cabin that graces its bank. I have many stories that I tell about the lake and I am gathering them here.

As I reel with the images and pain of our neighbors to the South, I have retreated to my favorite place for sanctuary...you are welcome to come along...there's good fishing too...its just not my thing
