Northern Harrier

The Northern Harrier, formerly known as Marsh Hawk, is a regular non-breeding visitor across TN (and it probably has bred in TN). They are often seen singly as they course low over an open field, but they do roost communally, with 15 to 20 or more being commonly found at one site. These roosts are also great ways to find Short-eared Owls.
