Victoria

In Victoria we took a bus tour around the city and went to the Butchart Gardens.

These gardens were created by Jennie Butchart, the wife of a cement baron in the 19th century who wanted to beautify the ugly holes of the limestone quarries used to make cement. There are four gardens: Sunken, Rose, Italian, and Japanese. Not sure where the totem pole fits in.
