Heading To The Powerhouse

This is how the water from the reservior gets to the powerhouse. It is piped down river. Apalachia Dam is not a power generating dam. It is a diversion dam.

I grew up just minutes from where this photo was taken. It sure brings back some good memories of years ago. There are a couple places you drove by across the mountain where the flume line comes out of the mountain. Nice photos. Thank you for posting.
