The PowWow tore down conventional barriers between audience and entertainer as everyone was asked to enter the circle and meet each other until the drums stopped. Everyone shook the hand of everyone else so that young met old, man met woman, "of" met "not-of" the tribe --in a pleasant and repectful way.
