A map to find a transversal direction through the reminiscences of my childhood until arriving to the calm land of nowadays. Images at random of daily details at my parents’ home. Tenderness, nostalgia of present, which might so quickly become past.

Mostly great photos of beautiful items. Still life paintings by famous painters are rarely this colorful and appealing.

There will come the time when these photos are your most prized possessions, Marisa. I know for I too can walk through my parents' home in my mind even though it no longer exists the way I remember it. These photos are touching, beautiful, original and could only be yours. Another beautiful interior gallery! Some fo the best pictures for one's portfolio can certaintly be taken from personal items at home. Helps one to reminisize events past. The arhitecture of the home really brings out a mood of serenity. Great photography!

Another touching gallery, Marisa. I love the intro with Eliot. There is such tenderness in the images and the shadows add much depth to the still life. Life isn't still in this gallery--it moves through the silent spaces like a phantom mist of old memories. Bravo. V

It's like reading a story book with really great images to go alone with - this is a great gallery and looks to have great meaning to you. I had fun reading the little stories and the images are beauiful - my mom also has a million knickknacks and I never understood why - I call them her army b/c they are so many but now i see them in a new light -very nice work Marisa.

I will not repeat much of what the others already has commented. By and large I agree. However, accustomed to the high quality of your photos I want to emphasize your original, creative sense for choosing and defining new themes. Thus you help many of us to bring back our own memories, feelings and sentiments from our childhood and youth. Even if it corresponds with the the old atmosphere in the photos, I found two or three of them a bit too dark. Thank you very much! Arnulf

Beautiful memories seen through a beautifl eye. Harmonies of time, special bottles, glass candies and your fathers desk. A small table of portraits, grandmother's silver bowl of generations. The main entry hall with those lovely chairs and vase. The feather couch is a story in within itself...ahh such bliss. A quite remarkable exquisitely calming journey, going through childhood at 'My Parents Home'. Such a beautiful story told from a book with gold gilt edging and leather backing of the highest grade. This is truly unique Marisa. A round of applause! Graeme

What can I say... Probably, it's like painting with light and creating very romantic and spiritual atmosphere, this is truly unusual for your style ( wonderful and one-of-the-kind, I meant ), yet again you accoplished something that most of us should probably consider as benchmark in taste, composition, and incredible artistism... Marisa, this is remarkable, inventive, questioning, serene, loving, sharing, and precious. It has the feeling of an object poem of the order of William Carlos Williams. Each photograph is well-done (for you that is a given) but it is in the choice of these interiors we see so much of your parents and you. I say you have thrown down a challenge to all of us to look at the Interiors of our own lives. I am incredibly moved. Of course I voted for this. Private comments on word selections.
