Ticking of time passing

My parents' home

This clock is a present I bought to my parents.
They wanted a clock not too big, which could find place in their big bookshelves,
but big enough to allow them to see the hours,
when they are sitting in their two armchairs, side by side,
watching television or reading.
I didn’t understand what their present relationship with time is yet.
Maybe it’s a relative value, which changes with age.
They are more serene in that than I am now.

I like this image very much ... not only because of how very well you have taken this image but because of the sentimental value that it represents ... for you and your parents ... that means a lot - always ...

Si simple, et en même temps si lourd de symboles...
Temps en mouvement, temps qui s'arrête, occasions manquées... la vie, tout simplement!
La position des aiguilles dénote un optimisme certain.
Une image superbement traitée, Marisa!

Soft sense of motion, time passing slowly.
