“Nothing To Be Frightened Of”

Nyon - Vaud (Sitzerland)

I have been asked what book I was reading in the photo I posted yesterday.
The requeste made me happy, as books lover I feel a kind of instantaneous and deep empathy with all the people who like books as well.
I must control myself or else I might start writing on this topic for pages and pages. Definitely I’m too wordy when I write.
So here is the book I have just finished reading
“Nothing To Be Frightened Of” by Julian Barnes.
It’s not a novel; I don’t know in what literary category it might be put correctly, it’s a kind of essay on mortality, celebration of art, a philosophical exchange... But it’s not heavy at all, it’s another proof that it’s not necessary to be boring, pompous and too serious to write (or too speak) about deep subjects.
I have to control myself; I know...I run the risk to tell you all the contents of the book right now if I don’t give myself a limit.
Anyway if you are interested in knowing more, I’ll be glad to answer you privately, at your own risk (smile).
It’s time to pass to another book or another photo...or both
