called America's largest home, it was built by George Vanderbilt
in his early 30s while he was single. A good portion of the
right side of the house is devoted to male interests (pool hall,
smoking room, hunting room, secret passages up to the
bachelor sleeping rooms. He chose this area for health reasons.
