The roasted hazlenuts for the next salad

Now all the skins must be peeled off first,
but I liked the colours and textures
so here they are in all their clothed glory.

Good lighting; it doesn't flatten out the surface of the nuts, meaning that the texture of the surface (not to mention the colour variations) are captured quite faithfully. Must confess that I too haven't heard of these being used in a salad.

Hazelnuts for a salad... That sounds very appealing. Wouldn't mind trying it.
