The lakes here are too small to see this sight, most all our boats the motor powered. And it's been years since it was enjoyable, since the numbers are so high. When I see shots like this, it brings memories of earlier times and things where sailing here was thought of for the ocean and steam for trains. Funny how perspective is changed by what we're accustomed to. But this shot brought it to mind, and touches on things I'd not found way to verbalize before. Similar I'd think, to the neon sign others who live without every really seeing one might feel. Good shot.
