Entiat River Valley

This small river valley is passed by the hordes flocking to Lake Chelan for their summer vacations which is just fine! The river is the gateway to hiking trails in the Cascades and the locals are the best! Located 18 miles north of Wenatchee on Alternate 97. Gateway to " Glacier Peak Wilderness ".

Fun to look through your pictures. My family moved to Mill Camp in Ardenvoir in 1943, but stayed just one year - my mother felt hemmed in by the close mountains. But I have MANY cousins in the area and will ALWAYS have ties to the Ardenvoir/Entiat Valley. Lila Hidell lhidell@aol.com

It was cool getting to camp at Domnkey Falls with you guys. Thanks for the tour of the lake in our old boat. Your secrete is safe with us. By the way did you see us waving from Entiat Park Dock. Im sure we'll see you around. Ya gotta love our area.

Is the school year just east of the Chelan Dam? Cool pictures of the area...again I taught search and rescue mountain flying along the Entiat Ridge to Lake Wenatchee. thanks for sharing. Long
