Sugarloaf Mt. Lookout was built in 1936 and is manned each summer and one of the few in the area that still is. It's like going back into time to about 1950 all over. Jim Myers has been manning this one for the last six years when he came over from manning the Bonaparte fire lookout. Interesting how they can use two lookout towers to cross point a mark to pinpoint a fire or area. ( They is like something out of an old " Walt Disney" movie...
