January Challenge - Monochrome #18. Many trees in this part of Texas do not lose leaves during the mild winters. But our pecan trees always shed in November after the last of the nuts have fallen. We have thousands of pecan trees in our area. In the old days, Sugar Land's sugarcane plantations also harvested and sold the nuts.
