I've rediscovered music, and it's good. For a very long time - years even - I would sit in silence in my study. Now the first thing I do after switching on my computer is load up iTunes, pick a playlist and then leave the program to shuffle the music throughout the day. Marvellous it is! I have been very busy ripping my CDs and saving them to a specially purchased external 120Gb hard-drive. Music never has been so simple. The only drawback, however, is that I don't manage to get much work done as I find myself singing along to the songs... heaven knows what the neighbours must think - but they haven't complained yet, so perhaps they like the sound of my voice. Today I have been listening to my 'Glasgow Playlist', which has such fine Weegie artists as Belle and Sebastian, Teenage Fanclub, Franz Ferdinand, Jesus and Mary Chain and Primal Scream. Hoots mon!
ON MY iTUNES: Belle and Sebastian, Teenage Fanclub, Franz Ferdinand... and Blur, Gorillaz and Graham Coxon (well I do like Blur and their spin-offs a great deal!)
